How to Convert Capital One Statements to CSV

Capital One only gives you PDFs for full monthly statements. No CSV export, no Excel download. If you need that data in a spreadsheet, you'll need to convert it.

How to Convert

  1. Download your statement from Capital One under Documents > Statements
  2. Upload the PDF at statementpro.app
  3. Statement Pro detects Capital One and runs a dedicated parser
  4. Review and download as CSV, Excel, JSON, or OFX

Format Details

Capital One statements have some quirks. Dates use named months ("Jan 05", "Dec 31") instead of numeric formats. Amounts have dollar sign prefixes ("$1,234.56"). Some statement variants use numeric dates instead.

The parser handles all of these, including the tricky case where a statement spans December into January and needs to figure out the correct year for each transaction.
