Step-by-Step Guide
Download Your CIBC Statement
Log in to your CIBC online banking account and navigate to your statements section. Download the statement you want to convert as a PDF file.
Tip: Log in to CIBC Online Banking at cibc.com. Click 'My Accounts' and select the account. Under the 'Statements' tab, choose the statement period and click download. In the CIBC Mobile app, tap the account, select 'Statements,' and tap the period to download. CIBC typically keeps 7 years of eStatements available online. If you recently switched from paper to eStatements, older periods may not be available digitally. CIBC credit card statements are accessed under the credit card section separately.
Upload to Statement Pro
Go to the upload page and drag-and-drop your PDF or click to select it. Statement Pro automatically detects CIBC statements and begins extracting transactions immediately.
Download Your QuickBooks File
Once processing is complete, click the download button to get your QuickBooks file. All transaction dates, descriptions, and amounts are preserved accurately and ready for use in your favorite spreadsheet or accounting application.
